First footage from Deathly Hallows

Its a great day today, as finally first footage from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has surfaced online. Aired on some Canadian TV, the new footage shows Bill/Flue dancing, the Trio (hiding?) behind a wood log and a short snippet of what appears to be Room of Requirement.

Ellen Show's clip

Yesterday, on WB's Ellen show, a new clip made a debut all over. This clip shows Umbridge being introduced to all the Hogwarts students by Dumbledore and after that Umbridge giving a honoured (more likely, hateful) speech. At the end Umbridge giggles.

The Leaky Cauldron.org has posted brand new description of OOTP's domestic full length trailer.

The new trailer will contain looks at Grawp; Neville in front of the door to the Room of Requirement; clips of Harry telling Ron and Hermione about the snog with Cho; Harry and Hermione discussing the DA; glimpses of the DA lessons, new shots of the Order of the Phoenix on Privet Drive; Snape speaking about the connection between the Dark Lord’s mind and Harry’s, new shots of the DA in the Ministry of Magic, as well as images of what exactly Voldemort conjured with that ball of fire, among others from the final battle.

I think this trailer shows some new footage + some exciting battle scenes. For first screencaps and online trailer stay tuned at this post!

Equus - Opening day and standing ovation

Dan's west-end debut, Equus opened last night here in London, and the whole theatre was full of crowd. All of the performers recieved good comments and especially Dan recieved standing ovation. Other celebs also gave good comments on his role.

According to The Times:

Radcliffe proves an assured actor and makes a perfectly able equimaniac. He can do aggression and pain, and, oddly, is lacking only in the sense of magic and wonder the part demands.

though gripping and theatrically skilful, Equus is at root dated, pretentious and even a bit pernicious, much like the 1960s guru who clearly influenced Shaffer.
