Pogo to give away 800 movie tickets

Pogo TV, the channel, has announced a question-contest, by winning you can get a chance to visit Mumbai premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (without any star-cast from the film) and 800 cinema tickets. Pogo will also air red-carpet event (its unclear wether it will be from outside India or Mumbai one) and a special preview for the movie within 10 to 15 July.

So, now it is confirmed that OOTP is not going to released on 11th of July in India.

Stay tuned for more.

More mixed reviews

It looks like OOTP is having the same problem with critics, same as Goblet of Fire (which are lack of screen time and character developement, less acting more visual effects and all that). But Goblet came out be a good one, probably the best one so far. However, i still cannot say how good or bad is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is, but that's what the movie reviewers want to say:

The Hollywood reporter highly criticizes this film as:

Harry suffers from growing pains as this movie struggles to distill J.K. Rowling's longest book yet.
UPDATE ON RELEASE DATE: We've got a new news from WB that OOTP will be not going to release on 11 July in India. Keep Checking for more updates.

OOTP reviews- Good and Slightly Bad

After screenings and tokyo premiere, review for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has just arrived. The London Times, has given it three stars out of five. (isn't really good)

Quote:

"The acting skills of Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione) have improved, but not enough to truly flesh out the characters and provide the narrative depth this transitional, plot-advancing film needs. They have got “angry” and “determined” down pat at this point, but struggle somewhat on the more nuanced grimaces. Harry’s bellowing cod-psychoanalysis of Voldemort is jarringly awful."

Another review has also arrived, being a bit better than the above:

Quote:

"They probably won't be screaming "Harry, you're so cool" when they see the film. Yet the film is dark enough to engage adults, familiar enough to reassure us and fast-paced, as 766 pages are packed into two hours and 18 minutes. Each successive film in the Harry Potter series adds layers of depth while the plot moves into rewarding territory. Existing characters grow richer and more complex while new characters add spice."

More will come in few days. Keep Checking!!
