Pogo to air Deathly Hallows special and TV premiere of HBP

Finally Pogo is promoting the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, with a special red carpet/TV special on Thursday, November 18.

Pogo is also playing all six Harry Potter films, notably Indian TV premiere for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (in Hindi, ofcourse), which is going to be broadcasted on Sunday, 11.30 AM. You can also win a trip to UK and much more by answering some simple questions based on HP during the airings.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows releases nationwide on Friday, 19th November 2010 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.

Pogo to air HBP TV Special and contest

As expected, Pogo is airing a TV Special for Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince on 12th July 2009 [tomorrow]. There is also a new contest, by which fans can win Year 1-5 DVD set and some other prizes.

Order of the Phoenix on November 16th

Hey guys, it is confirmed that Pogo is going to air Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (in Hindi dub) on Sunday, November 16th. So now at least there is something to wait for in November.

Pogo is also going to air Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire in these 30 days.

'Mega Magic Express'

Pogo, a Tuner International Channel under Time Warner (I wrote all this to tell you that Pogo is directly linked to Warner Bros.) is all set to air Harry Potter films (Hindi-dubbed) this Diwali season.
There is a big chance that Order of the Phoenix will be also broadcasted. 'Mega Magic Express' is going to air this mid-October.

Pogo will not air Order of the Pheonix

So it is now crystal clear that Pogo is not going to air Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in hindi (dub).
Generally, Pogo airs all Harry Potter movies. but this time Pogo is going to air only Goblet of Fire and some new movies like Krrish and Dragonheart will be going to be broadcasted in May Movie Magic.

The most important reason for not airing Order of the Phoenix is because 'one year gap' between theatrical release and tv premiere. OOTP, as we all know was released in India on June 13th 2007, and Pogo airs Harry Potter movies in May (each year). So, this clears everything about why Pogo is not going to air OOTP.

Anyway, we all have to wait one big year for Pogo to air OOTP. But enjoy May Movie Magic only on Pogo.

Pogo may NOT air Order of the Phoenix

Well, I got some news about May Movie Magic. There is a rumour (yes, rumour) that Pogo will not air Order of the Phoenix until 2009. This delay is because of DVD to TV time.
I will update when I'll get some more news on this.

OOTP won Pogo Amazing Kids Best Foreign Movie

I know I know, Pogo Amazing has been announced since December, I just didn't knew it. Anyway, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has won Pogo Amazing Kids Award for best Foreign Movie 2007.

Yeah that's right. Pogo's Music Dance Arts programme's host, Rob has conducted a fresh new interview with the cast trio. They all told Rob about their characters, the movie and most specially, their views about India. This interesting interview will be going to air on 14th July at 7:00 PM IST on Pogo TV. This interview was conducted on June 27th at London (Press Junket). Most funny this is that Dan, Emma and Rup said few lines in Hindi, lol.

Today, a sneak peak at OOTP was aired. Although it contained most of the old clips, but we see it in India's point of view. If you have given the right answers, than you can have complete star treatment, starting with a make-over by a Bollywood stylist, staying at a five star hotel, arriving to the grand premiere in a luxurious car and will also get a chance to watch the premiere with POGO’s favorite host, Rob! To participate in this contest, viewers need to send SMS ‘HP’ followed by the option (A/B/C/D) to 8558.

Pogo to give away 800 movie tickets

Pogo TV, the channel, has announced a question-contest, by winning you can get a chance to visit Mumbai premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (without any star-cast from the film) and 800 cinema tickets. Pogo will also air red-carpet event (its unclear wether it will be from outside India or Mumbai one) and a special preview for the movie within 10 to 15 July.

So, now it is confirmed that OOTP is not going to released on 11th of July in India.

Well.. I know that I'm late, but for those who don't know, Pogo's website has been updated with May Movie Magic's goodies. You can watch some TV spots and download some wallpapers from all 4 Harry Potter movies.

GoF on Pogo on last sunday of May

As we told you in another post, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is going to be premiered on Pogo (A Cartoon Network/ Time Warner Channel) on 27 of May (Sunday). It has been confirmed by the promos of "May Movie Magic" on Pogo.
Pogo will also broadcast Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban on 6, 13 and 20 May, respectively. Oh note that all films will be in dubbed hindi.

Pogo's official site will hopefully updated also. You can also win fabulous prizes by winning simplest questions like "Who escaped from Azkaban", lol.
Anyway, will update you with more news about this "May Movie Magic".

Pogo to air dubbed Goblet of Fire

It has been confirmed by the promos of GoF at Pogo, that Pogo will soon air Goblet of Fire in Hindi (dubbed). So, it will be a Indian TV premiere for GoF, although it will be shown in crappy hindi (Which I review as Worst dubbing ever of any HP movie).

GoF is likely to be aired on last week of May, on Sunday (26 May), only if they also show SOS, COS and POA in all the sundays in May. However it is still unconfirmed that when they'll air GoF in May.

Pogo might NOT premiere GOF

As you all know, most of the HP movies are telecasted at Pogo. And I think Pogo might NOT telecast GOF as it has PG-13 (U/A in India) rating. But always pray for the good, keep your fingers crossed until May, in which most of the dubbed HP movies are shown.
