New Half-Blood Prince Sneak Peaks

Eh well another great day of greatest jealous. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix's US Edition DVD contains some excellent, great and exciting footages (or we can say milisecond clips) of HBP film, which is due to release in 2008. Now I got it why our US friends waited for some long one month.

These sneak peaks contains cast interviews, some behind the scene footage and bunch of very small CCTV footages of HBP. These are-
Draco Cursing Harry on the Train (He says 'Petrificus Totalis')
Harry saying 'If did find them all, you destroyed each of the Horcrux' to Dumbledore.
Daily Prophet having headline of 'Death Eater Attack Targets Muggles'.
Harry and Ginny about to kiss. (lovely)
And much much more. So watch it :-

Enjoy!

MuggleIndia 'Order of the Phoenix' DVD Review

Well, it has been a long month since Order of the Phoenix DVD has been released. sorry for being later but here is a brief review-

'Order of the Phoenix- Good as well as very bad DVD'

So folks, enjoying aren't you? I know some of you still haven't owned the Two Disc Special Edition DVD so for those people here is MuggleIndia's Review.

Great Movie (Disc One Review)

What I should say about the film? Ofcourse it is good. And crystal clear video and audio adds more delight into it. Video quality, as expected is great and very clear. Audio is also good but only problem in the audio is its low-pitch sound as compared to the original. Otherwise, I must say the Disc One of Two is great.

What the heck? (Disc Two Review)

'Kya socha tha aur kya paya' That totally fits into the disc two of the Two Disc Special Edition DVD of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. There are 4 extras in the second disc and these are namely-

Deleted Scenes - There were, let me remember, I think 4 or 5 . Yes.. 7. Two of them were totally boring (Trelawney Eating, Malfoy and gang ice fighting and very short clip of Umbridge's polluted hair after Weasley's exit). Other scenes were okay.
Hidden Secrets of Potter - Includes some previous movies' scenes and some cast interviews. Not very special.
Magic of Editing- Very good, but only for some particular audience interested in film making. Good fun.
Trailing Tonks- Best Part of the DVD. Awesomely narrated by Natalia Tena (aka Nymphdora Tonks), includes very personal tour of Nat walking around Leavesden Studios.
There is another extra, sneek peak at sets and quidditch costumes of Half-Blood Prince movie. Nothing very special again.
So Disc Second totally dissapoints us. In short apart from Trailing Tonks 'nothing very special'.
Hope you enjoy better than me.
-------------------------------------------------------------
And on a short note, as Warner Home Video's official site says, the US Bluray and HD-DVD Edition will have some more features, more deleted scenes (17 min) and some focus points. Eww... feeling of envy.

Order of the Phoenix DVD released in India

After long wait, Order of the Phoenix DVD has been released in countrywide today. However, some online stores enabled the pre-ordering of the DVD, and in some big stores, in Mumbai and Bangalore it was available since November 15th for Shopping. But today it was released in whole India.

Saregama has released two versions of the movie. One is Two Disc Special Edition DVD (in English only) and the other is movie only VCD (in English and well as Hindi).
Two Disc Special Edition DVD is priced at Rs. 699 (INR / around 17.7 USD)
VCD version is priced at Rs. 299 (INR/ around 7.6 USD) .

It looks like HD-DVD edition and Bluray will NOT going to released in India. But only time will tell...
Enjoy.

EDIT: Some of our readers are saying that Bluray has been also released in India, but only in big movie stores in big cities. But again, it should again to be considered as a rumor as I don't have any web-evidance of this news.

Jo writes new book for auction

The Tales of Beedle the Bard , this is a book, which will be auctioned for charity, The Children's Voice, with a starting price of £30,000. The book is written by Jo herself, with attractive and well as expensive cover.

The book is overall a bunch of short fairytales, namely-
  • "The Tale of the Three Brothers"
  • "The Fountain of Fair Fortune"
  • "The Wizard and the Hopping Pot"
  • "Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump"
  • "The Warlock’s Hairy Heart"

All these stories' theme is based in Harry Potter's Wizarding World. All these stories, according to Jo were heard by Ron in his childhood and The Tales of Beedle the Bard was left to Hermione by Hogwarts school headmaster Dumbledore. But... The book will be printed in only 7 copies, 6 for some special people and 1 for auction for charity.

Bad Luck guys, you can't own it, but you can take part in auction if you are in London.

Jo reveals shocking news about Dumbledore

Here at at Carnegie Hall, New York Jo said something shocking, but interesting news about the Hogwarts School Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore.

A young fan asked J.K. Rowling whether Dumbledore finds "true love". Rowling said "Dumbledore is gay" and "fell in love with the charming wizard Gellert Grindelwald but when Grindelwald turned out to be more interested in the dark arts than good, Dumbledore was terribly let down and went on to destroy his rival." That love, she said, was Dumbledore's "great tragedy." The audience reportedly fell silent after Rowling's admission, then erupted into applause.

Well this is a bit weird, our who DD point-of-view will change. Anyway, clever Jo. You might have told us years ago. She told :
"If I'd known it would make you so happy, I would have announced it years ago!"
Those who don't know, Jo is on her Open Book Tour answer several questions about Harry Potter.

WB & Jo sues Kolkata's community

Well, this is a proof of WB and Jo being very protective over Harry. Yesterday, Warner Bros. sued a community based in Kolkata for creating Hogwarts 'look-alike' castle pandal for the upcoming Durga Puja.

For those who don't know, Durga Puja is a festival, celebrated all over India, especially in Bengal.
In this long-running festival, people workship goddess Durga in very attractive temple-like 'pandals'. The community which has summoned at Delhi High Court may have wanted to do something 'different' but, unfortunately- Its all about Loving Harry!

WB wants two million (crore) rupees for permission to present this castle like pandal. This much cost for a pandal is pretty high, anyway.

"We had no clue that we had to seek permission from the author,"

said Santanu Biswas, the head of the community. Best of luck, Mr. Santanu!

The community, obviously don't have enough money to pay fine. The case will start in Delhi High Court on Friday.

UPDATE- The Delhi High Court on Friday refused to restrain a Kolkata-based Durga puja committee from using the statues and images of Harry Potter characters during the nine-day festival. Wow, great news.

Jo got a new member in her family

Our favorite author, J.K. Rowling has got a new member for her family. Oh, no not what you are thinking. She has adopted Sapphire, a retired racing dog from the Greyhound Rescue Fife.

She has also made donation of £1,000 (around 1.5 lakhs) to the shelter's owner, Mrs. Fernie.
According to her-
"When I looked at the cheque I couldn't believe it. The first thing I noticed was the amount she had made it out for. Then I spotted her name and realised who it was. I just said, 'Oh, I didn't recognise you,' and she just smiled politely. She was a lovely woman - the whole family were very nice."
On a small not, this is MuggleIndia's 99th post.

Half-Blood Prince Hindi translation released

Wait is over and within 2 months of 'Maya Panchchi Ka Samuh', Harry Potter's 6th Book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince's Hindi translation 'हैरी पॉटर और हाफ - ब्लड प्रिन्स' (i.e. Harry Potter aur Half-Blood Prince) has been released. It is available in your nearest book store for just INR 275. Book is of 570 pages and it is translated by Sudhir Dixit.

One thing to be noted is that the title of 'Half-Blood Prince' hasn't been translated. The word Half-Blood has been same in hindi translations, but Pure-Blood and Mud-Blood are known as 'शुद्ध खून' and 'बदजात' , respectively. Although in movies, term Half-Blood is called 'Milla Jula / मिल जुला ' and words same like 'Half-Blood'. Well I must say people who translated this book are not into innovation.

Cover art is available on your left-corner.

Confusion Confusion Confusion

Reading the above heading you all also are in confusion? Well it is about OOTP's DVD. Everyone knows that it is going to release one month earlier in UK and one month later in US. Confusion is about deleted scenes. Early reports this month said that there are 7 minutes of additional footage. After that news came out that the additional scenes are of 17 minutes. And now some sites suggests that the deleted scenes are of 30 minutes (as Marcie of DR.net says).
So confusion is what is the real length?

I think this will be going to releaved when we will see the back-artwork of Order of the Phoenix's Two Disc Special Edition.
Hey hang-on one more confusion that, when DVD is going to release in India? Saregama Home Video's site is currently offline for some upgradation so there is no info about his matter. Hopefully all these 'confusions' will be over soon.

Dan at England versus India test match

I got a little shock while watching yesterday's test match between India and England. I saw Daniel Radcliffe, watching cricket! Although he was there for a short time, approx. 2 hours.
Dan is a big fan of cricket and he has just started learning about Cricket few months back.
It is noticable that in England, people really are not so mad about Cricket as we are in India. English are more interested about Football and other sports.

Ok Folks, that's the day. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is now in Indian Theatres.

Harry and Cho's....

Kiss. Yes. I have seen OOTP's early screening (as I was in NY yesterday). I liked the movie, althought pretty much was cut.
For those who are worried about Harry and Cho's Kiss, let me tell you that, that kiss was short, shorter than I imagined and in terms of publicity, this kiss is really around 13-14 seconds.
I laughed what Cho said at the kissing scene. Well I won't spoil it for you, but this clip is out in YouTube, if you want it search for it.
OOTP is in Indian theatres tomorrow.

Namaste, says Emma

Yeah that's right. Pogo's Music Dance Arts programme's host, Rob has conducted a fresh new interview with the cast trio. They all told Rob about their characters, the movie and most specially, their views about India. This interesting interview will be going to air on 14th July at 7:00 PM IST on Pogo TV. This interview was conducted on June 27th at London (Press Junket). Most funny this is that Dan, Emma and Rup said few lines in Hindi, lol.

Today, a sneak peak at OOTP was aired. Although it contained most of the old clips, but we see it in India's point of view. If you have given the right answers, than you can have complete star treatment, starting with a make-over by a Bollywood stylist, staying at a five star hotel, arriving to the grand premiere in a luxurious car and will also get a chance to watch the premiere with POGO’s favorite host, Rob! To participate in this contest, viewers need to send SMS ‘HP’ followed by the option (A/B/C/D) to 8558.

On a very very important note, if you have this video than please send at bunty0@gmail.com .
THANKS a lot, Pogo. We love this channel.

More mixed reviews

It looks like OOTP is having the same problem with critics, same as Goblet of Fire (which are lack of screen time and character developement, less acting more visual effects and all that). But Goblet came out be a good one, probably the best one so far. However, i still cannot say how good or bad is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is, but that's what the movie reviewers want to say:

The Hollywood reporter highly criticizes this film as:

Harry suffers from growing pains as this movie struggles to distill J.K. Rowling's longest book yet.
UPDATE ON RELEASE DATE: We've got a new news from WB that OOTP will be not going to release on 11 July in India. Keep Checking for more updates.

OOTP reviews- Good and Slightly Bad

After screenings and tokyo premiere, review for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has just arrived. The London Times, has given it three stars out of five. (isn't really good)

Quote:

"The acting skills of Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione) have improved, but not enough to truly flesh out the characters and provide the narrative depth this transitional, plot-advancing film needs. They have got “angry” and “determined” down pat at this point, but struggle somewhat on the more nuanced grimaces. Harry’s bellowing cod-psychoanalysis of Voldemort is jarringly awful."

Another review has also arrived, being a bit better than the above:

Quote:

"They probably won't be screaming "Harry, you're so cool" when they see the film. Yet the film is dark enough to engage adults, familiar enough to reassure us and fast-paced, as 766 pages are packed into two hours and 18 minutes. Each successive film in the Harry Potter series adds layers of depth while the plot moves into rewarding territory. Existing characters grow richer and more complex while new characters add spice."

More will come in few days. Keep Checking!!

OOTP Release Dates: 11 July to 13 July?

Good news HP lovers, WB has updated opened a micro-page with international release dates. However, it is a not up-to-date, but it gives several new release dates for 65 countries.

According to this page, OOTP will be released on 13th of July and that's what I think is official (but I'm worried that page hasn't been recently updated). But anyway, you can check it out here.

OOTP Completed; Runtime Speculations

We have got a new info from internal sources that Order of the Phoenix has been totally completed and is ready for release. Oh note that Kreecher's voice artist is still undetermined.

RUNTIME SPECULATIONS: OOTP will be shorter than GoF (that's for sure) so, it will be less than 148 Minutes. It is shorten than PoA also, so it is not of 142 minutes. Remains SOS, and COS both are above 140 mins, so it is expected that this movie will be over 120 mins (that is 101% sure).

Final note- Runtime of OOTP will be between 128 minutes to 140 minutes, 137 minutes suites most.

Another release date for OOTP

This day morning a special programme was aired on Star News about Dan's Indian look-alike (although he wasn't really matching) Star News said that
"Harry Potter ki ek nayi film 17 July ko release hogi"
meaning OOTP will be released on 17th July in India. Anyway, this news is not really true till we hear something from WB.

Pogo website updated!

Well.. I know that I'm late, but for those who don't know, Pogo's website has been updated with May Movie Magic's goodies. You can watch some TV spots and download some wallpapers from all 4 Harry Potter movies.

Click here for some cool tv spots for "May Movie Magic".

OOTP to be released on 19th July?

This is a sad news! Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be released on 19th July in India, according to IMDb. But IMDb is never reliable so, wait for some few weeks till we get some true news. But if IMDb is right than OOTP will be released 6 days after US, however 19th July is thursday so chances are "not very high".

It could be 20th July (Friday) or 13th July (Friday). Hope for the best!

GoF on Pogo on last sunday of May

As we told you in another post, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is going to be premiered on Pogo (A Cartoon Network/ Time Warner Channel) on 27 of May (Sunday). It has been confirmed by the promos of "May Movie Magic" on Pogo.
Pogo will also broadcast Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban on 6, 13 and 20 May, respectively. Oh note that all films will be in dubbed hindi.

Pogo's official site will hopefully updated also. You can also win fabulous prizes by winning simplest questions like "Who escaped from Azkaban", lol.
Anyway, will update you with more news about this "May Movie Magic".

New Banner!

After several testing.... I got a new banner for this site. It looks (i think) great. However, I have just decorated the fonts. I thought simple banner looks a bit odd!

I'm currently working on blog's banner. I will add some OOTP's pictures and images into this, hopefully, near the end of May (or even soon). So keep checking. Oh yes, surely send your suggestions about this blog!

Thursday, April 26, 2007

Pogo to air dubbed Goblet of Fire

It has been confirmed by the promos of GoF at Pogo, that Pogo will soon air Goblet of Fire in Hindi (dubbed). So, it will be a Indian TV premiere for GoF, although it will be shown in crappy hindi (Which I review as Worst dubbing ever of any HP movie).

GoF is likely to be aired on last week of May, on Sunday (26 May), only if they also show SOS, COS and POA in all the sundays in May. However it is still unconfirmed that when they'll air GoF in May.

WB on firebolt... New trailer plus new poster

Yippy! Awesome week. WB is still not statisfied. WB has released new trailer, a bit identical to yesterday's with some new clips. And what's more, a new trailer has been also released (in low resolution), same as IMAX poster.

To Download this amazing crystal clear Large sized trailer, right click and save this target!
480p version's download option will shortly come, hopefully!
UPDATE: MuggleIndia Blog will hopefully review this trailer.
Stay tuned for 480p version's dwnld link!

Domestic Trailer: Description

The Leaky Cauldron.org has posted brand new description of OOTP's domestic full length trailer.

Check it out in Leaky's way:

The new trailer will contain looks at Grawp; Neville in front of the door to the Room of Requirement; clips of Harry telling Ron and Hermione about the snog with Cho; Harry and Hermione discussing the DA; glimpses of the DA lessons, new shots of the Order of the Phoenix on Privet Drive; Snape speaking about the connection between the Dark Lord’s mind and Harry’s, new shots of the DA in the Ministry of Magic, as well as images of what exactly Voldemort conjured with that ball of fire, among others from the final battle.

I think this trailer shows some new footage + some exciting battle scenes. For first screencaps and online trailer stay tuned at this post!

UPDATE: Only 4 hours to go!

Big Week... WB on fire!

Warner Bros. I think is going to make Harry Potter fans insane! There are some cool news.
Yesterday's thrill was not too clear in quality, so WB released some 16 new stills from both International and Domestic trailer.

What? Domestic trailer? Yeah, it is a new trailer which will debut online today at Satellite (and Yahoo too, TLC says) and on May 4th with Spidey 3 in cinemas. It is unclear whether in India it is going to be included in Spider-Man 3 or not. But it doesn't matters, because this trailer is going to debut online around 7 'o' clock (IST) today.

BTW, for new pics you can check Mugglenet / or Leaky! Enjoy and wait for update.

BIG FEAST.... Eye Candy Sunday...

Oh so sad... AOL UK doesn't thinks that India is in World's map also. But who cares?

Folks, especially for you... OOTP Trailer in much much better quality.
Take a seat before proceeding...

Thanks our bro, ipodman715, for posting this video on YouTube.

Eyes at AOL UK today

Today, OOTP's new trailer will unleashed, in much much better quality than that "so-called TV bootleg" at YouTube. Watch out AOL UK today at 7:30 PM (Indian Standard Time) to watch the 1 or 2 mins of pure, thrilling magic...

Saturday, April 21, 2007

OOTP will be at AOL at 7pm tomorrow

Well, I think most of you may have been seen lower quality Japenese version of OOTP International Trailer #1.
But Indians have to wait for more than half-day to watch the trailer.

The OOTP Int. Trailer will be shown at AOL UK at 2 PM UTC/ GMT, meaning around 7:30 PM IST. Big wait....

BIG LEAK: OOTP INTERNATIONAL TRAILER ONLINE

Ok , take a deep breath, take a seat and miss a heartbeat before proceeding....

Note: It is of very low quality. It might spoil your sunday....

Thanks to our Japanese bro for capturing this from a Japanese Channel. Tomorrow, a higher quality version (possibly in HD also) will be at AOL UK. So, wait for tomorrow and read transcript from TLC for this moment:

"The new trailer will contain a great deal of new images from the upcoming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix film. Included are many new scenes such as the flight on the Thestrals, the Centaurs, the exciting (and gloriously havoc filled) exit and flight from Hogwarts of Fred and George, scenes with Umbridge talking as well as Filch hammering up the new Proclamations. In addition are more stunning things such as the DA lessons with Harry (even a Patronus lesson), an incredible shot of Voldemort by the Hogwart's Express, Snape, the Order of the Phoenix flying over the river Themes through London, short scenes with Sirius, the Trio, Bellatrix, Dumbledore and Fudge in the Ministry, as well as one amazing glimpse of Azkaban prison. Wow. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be released on July 13, 2007."

OOTP Cast's interview at Entertainment Weekly Mag

The new issue of Entertainment Weekly , that also contains those yesterday's photos, is now online .
In this interview, some small hints are given like Phoenix will run under two and a half hours and be the shortest film so far and David Yates might return to direct the sixth one.

Yates said "While nothing's finalized, Yates is expected to return for film 6, which is slated to begin shooting this September."

Jason Isaacs: "Today is Helena Bonham Carter's first day playing the evil witch Bellatrix Lestrange, Sirius' warped cousin as well as his mortal enemy. Her costume may be entirely black, but she's counting on her pushed-up bustline to help her stand out. ''It's not a huge part,'' she says, her elocution remarkably clear despite a mouth full of fake teeth. ''So I thought I could have lots of breast, if not lots of lines.''

HPDH's cover's review by editor himself

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows US editor, Mr. Arthur Levine talked about the book 7's cover-art:

"We're seeing Harry in a very interesting situation. Readers will find out exactly what the situation is.
When I was reading it, I had both the excitement and the power of the book, and the plot, driving me forward. But I was also feeling a little sad. It's the last time."
He also admitted that he "sobbed and sobbed". The reported asked, "That means someone we like dies, doesn't it?" He replied "Well, it means it is a very, very emotional book".

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows cover released!

Yes Guys, a big news today! Take a seat before you procede, as Deathly Hallows cover-art is released. The cover art reveals several thing's answers and well-as some unanswered questions.

UPDATE: Bloomsbury also announced today that the UK edition (and possibily Indian Editon also) will be 608 pages long and ₤ 17.99 in price.

This price is something that will surely loose around Rs. 1000 from your parents pocket (and the price will be not less than 900 as HBP was Rs. 895, so price may also rise as up as Rs. 1550 , so parents, put your fingers crossed!).

The US version of the book will have 784 pages, making it longer than GOF.

First Reviews of OOTP are Online

Okay guys, before you proceed to view all this, I must tell you that a big spoiler awaits you ahead. Ain't Cool News has posted a review for OOTP and well as fans at MuggleNet has also given three reviews.
So, Here's some main cool plot details from all 4 reviews (remember, I've no idea about the movie yet as I haven't seen it. So, these are most possible plot details from the above reviews. )
BIG SPOILER, select to view :-
- Film starts same as book (with Dementors attack)
- Dursleys are given short time in the movie but all 3 or 5 minutes are awesome.
- Tonks is not so cool and is quite different as book.
- The flight through London is awe-inspiring.
- Moody on his specialised broom is superb.
- Grimmauld place is grim and the Black family tapestry is enormous.
- Lupin's on-screen time is too short .
- Michael Gambon is now a bit calm and gives a tinge of Richard Harris. He's improving.
- Luna is damn good.
- Imelda Staunton's Dolores Umbridge is simply one of the most evil creations you will ever wish to see.
- The DA scenes are handled superbly .
- The Harry and Cho's kiss is not just a kiss but a full make-out session. (But not too much showing )
- Scenes with Hagrid and Grawp are a tad long, but good.
- Twins exit from Hogwarts is 10 on 10.
- Big difference from the book is Grawp saving Harry and Hermione from Umbridge and the centaurs but Imelda's face as shes flung into the trees in a picture.
- The BIG fight is a masterpiece .
- The fight scene is the coolest one and most matching to the book.
- Death scene is too emotional.

Overall MuggleIndia gives this flick as 7 and a half out of 10 and a PG-13 (U/A) rating.

Ten Thousand Order of the Phoenix

In a discussion at Variety.com , Veronika Kwan-Rubinek, Warner Bros' international prexy of distribution, talked about Order of the Phoenix, just one of the major flicks coming out this summer :
"The opening date is not an obvious choice on the domestic side, but it really does put our best foot forward internationally. With 'Harry Potter,' we're going day and date everywhere except in the Middle East and a few minor markets, because most are going to be in holidays at that point, so this date really maximizes our opportunity."
With so many tentpoles, the battle for screens will be intense.
"We'll have between 6,000 and 7,000 on 'Ocean's' and over 10,000 on 'Harry' but that's going to be a challenge because there are so many incredible films coming."
Tip: Mugglenet

Happy Birthday, Ron

Today is March 1st and its birthday of Ron. From MuggleIndia, Happy B'day, Ronald. There must be celebrations at Weasley Wizard Wheezes, don't you think so?
One more thing, Jo's site is also updated with this event.

Equus - Opening day and standing ovation

Dan's west-end debut, Equus opened last night here in London, and the whole theatre was full of crowd. All of the performers recieved good comments and especially Dan recieved standing ovation. Other celebs also gave good comments on his role.

According to The Times:
Radcliffe proves an assured actor and makes a perfectly able equimaniac. He can do aggression and pain, and, oddly, is lacking only in the sense of magic and wonder the part demands.
though gripping and theatrically skilful, Equus is at root dated, pretentious and even a bit pernicious, much like the 1960s guru who clearly influenced Shaffer.
You can view the reviews at : The Independent , The Guardian , The Times and Reuters .

Pogo might NOT premiere GOF

As you all know, most of the HP movies are telecasted at Pogo. And I think Pogo might NOT telecast GOF as it has PG-13 (U/A in India) rating. But always pray for the good, keep your fingers crossed until May, in which most of the dubbed HP movies are shown.

New Gallery: UPDATED

I've updated my web-album with some high-res pics. To view full album, click on the image.

NEWS ROUND: DAN

There are two news for Dan for today. In first-one, Telegraph newspaper posted an interview with Dan in which he told about Equus, his career choices as an actor and taking on a part in this serious play.

According to Newspaper,

"JR Maiming a horse is a far cry from riding a hippogriff, isn't it?
DR Completely. There came a point on the third Potter film when I thought, acting is what I want to do. I thought it would be a bad idea to wait till the Potter films were all finished to do something else. There are certain people who will be more than happy to see you in any other role you like, and there will be some who will never, ever see you as anything other than Harry Potter. Once you've accepted that, it's fine - you just do whatever you like. With this, they can say I'm good or terrible but the one thing they can't say is I haven't challenged myself."

In the second news, Forbes mag has released "Young Hollywood's Top-Earning Stars", in which he has been ranked at No. 2, earning over$13 million USD (around 574 crores) for OOTP movie.

Rowling sues Ebay.in over Pirated editions of Potter

After unscrupulous sellers used the Indian version of the website to sell unauthorised versions of Jo's books, she is suing online auction site eBay.in.

JKR has obtained an injunction which "prohibits eBay from listing illegal copies of her works. The court order is a setback for eBay because it is the first time the company has been obliged to police its sellers’ auctions for copyrighted material."

According to TheTimes,

"Neil Blair, Rowling’s legal adviser at the Christopher Little Literary Agency, said that she welcomed the court order. “Over the years eBay has appeared to be unwilling to control sellers on their site offering pirated or forged Harry Potter items for sale to innocent fans,” he said. “We have asked eBay on numerous occasions to assist by taking preventative steps to avoid these sales – steps that we are aware they can introduce. As these requests were not heeded we had no choice but to seek judicial intervention.
“J. K. Rowling has previously warned fans on her own website about the sale of fake signed books and other pirated Harry Potter e-books on eBay.”
